Casa dos Xarês was a dream come true for its promoters who left their life in Lisbon and decided to start a new life in the Idanha region. The recovery of a building, belonging to the family, which was degraded, became a huge challenge to the promoters, in order to install there a unit of Rural Tourism.
Characterized by a rustic and welcoming environment, with magnificent landscapes, where there are plenty of reasons for a refined walk in the Natural Park of International Tagus, the Casa dos Xarês is a refuge for all those who seek tranquility.
It offers a diversified panoply of leisure activities and simultaneously promotes the valorization of natural resources and the surrounding environment. The wide view of the stunning natural landscape and all the surroundings created in the development makes this new project an enhancer of the Rosmaninhal parish. The integrated and diversified offer model between accommodation, saltwater pool, restaurants, entertainment and culture "goes through the complementarity of experiences, a personalized service of proximity and the realization of animation activities and thematic events associated with endogenous products of the territory, ecotourism, hunting, nature and equestrian tourism.
The works included the creation of 6 thematic lodging rooms, all with names of rivers and streams of the region and decorated with details of the region, such as hunting, nature, fishing, and mountain biking. Two of the rooms, located in a house adapted for users with reduced mobility, includes a kitchenette room properly equipped for those who want to cook their own meals. The reception is also a store with regional and craft products produced by the house itself and by small local/regional producers, its partners. In the leisure and recreation spaces we highlight the saltwater infinity pool, the dining room and lounge, with a games table, a large plasma, a barbecue area. Our motto is "Experiencing nature and rurality".
